What can one say about BOB HOPE that hasn't been said before!  This phenomenon of talent and energy and master of merriment dazzles fans all over the world.  What may not be widely known is that Bob started his career as a dancer, a true GYPSY, on Broadway in 1922 in a show called "Sidewalks of New York". Though never a real threat to Fred Astaire, Bob can still oblige with a classy 'soft shoe',  with or without taps.  But most important is Bob's unheralded generosity and support to dancers for which we, of the Professional Dancers Society, are most humbly grateful.  And, of course, his devoted service to Our Country is exemplary.  It's even rumored that the War Department won't make a move without first consulting Bob's availability.
